This pear-almond pie-cake is mind-blowing! It’s delicious & spicy, filled with pear, nuts, raisins and has an elegant orange aftertaste!
I love desserts with pears, it’s a sweet, healthy fruit. Pear contain nutritious fibers and folic acid, they also contain potassium, calcium, sodium, phosphorus, magnesium and other minerals.
Pears are good for digestive and immune systems, they are a natural antibiotic, they fight various infections, have an anti-inflammatory property, detoxify the body, cure depression, and they are also allowed to eat for people with diabetes.
This recipe is really great, the pear gives juiciness and sweetness. Orange peel and cinnamon give an incredible aroma and bring back the warm memories of Christmas holidays. Raisins give sweetness and thanks to that you can put less sugar. Oh, and almonds… almonds are simply amazing with pears!
The recipe is simple, preparation will take you 5 minutes, but baking will take time – about 45-60 minutes, try to be patient, it’s worth it!
As you can see, I made two versions of this pie – in a rectangular baking form and in a classic round cake form. Both were equally delicious!
