Let’s bake some tasty healthy cookies!
This time I’m offering a PALEO recipe. This interesting and probably unfamiliar to you term means consuming food on the principle of our ancestors, that is, the use of what could be hunted or gathered, all natural foods, wild meat, fish, the absence of any artificial sweets, processed foods and grains=gluten.
The only gray zone, perhaps, is dairy products, the debate on its account is still ongoing. But since I’m not a supporter of any particular diet, and I eat simple, clean and as natural as possible, I don’t like to have any restrictions and limit my diet. I use dairy products every day, which I told you about here, and so far I see no reason for eliminating it from my meal plan.
The reason I’m telling you that today’s cookies are paleo – is to give you an idea of the ingredients and the principle of baking. For example, eggs are present in paleo recipes and there is no wheat flour. In such recipes, there are always a lot of nuts and seeds, and they are always very tasty!
Coming back to the recipe, these are incredibly tasty cookies, with lots of bright flavors and textures. It is ideal for breakfast, as a sweet compliment to tea and coffee or as a snack on the go.
