The vegan sweet dream
There are so many energy balls recipes. I guess there are thousands or hundreds of thousands of those… You change 1 tiny ingredient and get an absolutely new dish, this is incredible!
I’m glad to share a recipe of these flavorful, delicious and healthy vegan sweets with dates, walnuts, cranberries and fresh orange. Not only these ingredients perfectly match each other, but the presence of a fresh fruit makes this snack a boost of vitamins.
I love bringing these little energy bites with me and snack whenever I’m hungry. They are a perfect tea and coffee compliment, absolutely guilt-free and nutritious. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them, too!
It’s also nice that these sweets take just 5 minutes to make
- 1 cup of dates
- 2/3 cup of walnuts
- 1/3 cup of dried cranberries
- 1/2 orange
- pure vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
What to do?
- Mix all the ingredients well, form the balls or cubes
- Store in the fridge for 4-5 days
Today I felt like coating some of the energy bites with raw cacao and some with poppy seeds. These are great for 2 reasons – their tiny size makes it incredibly easy to cover your dessert with them, and the other reason – poppy seeds help make the sweets be less sticky.
I will be posting new healthy sweet treat recipes continuously so please check out the categories from time to time or subscribe to receive each of the recipes individually.
