Today I came across a nice article about the plentiful health benefits of raw cacao. So I simply couldn’t resist making something with ‘chocolate’ in the name.
It’s raining in Moscow the whole day, but the temperature is high and the rain feels really good. High humidity and fresh ozone air remind me of mornings in Thailand. So it wasn’t long till I made a decision what exactly I’d use my raw cacao powder for…
Hot chocolate with coconut milk and mint
I might have also called it ‘cacao’ but then there would be too many ‘cacao’ words in this post. Furthermore, I don’t really know the difference between hot chocolate and cacao. Is there one?
It was the first time I made hot chocolate with coconut milk and it turned amazing. If you love coconut milk it’ll be your love from the first sip, I promise. Mint, chocolate and coconut milk work perfectly together. I decided to add some cacao nibs, too. They don’t dissolve but it’s so good to chew them after the drink is almost finished, I love their bitter taste.
Enjoy the recipe, guys! I'd love to hear your feedback and see your creations on instagram at #healthyfoodembassy
