Ingredients
- 300g of pasta of your choice (I like linguine)
- 1 small broccoli
- 2 cloves of garlic
- basil leaf
- chilli
- 1/2 tsp nutritional yeast
- rapeseed oil, olive oil
- salt, pepper, dried basil, oregano (or a mixture of Italian herbs)
- * 2 tbsp any plant milk
Instructions
- Boil your pasta according to the instructions on the package (my advice is to cook 1 min less to get it al dente), make sure you add salt to the boiling water
- While pasta is cooking, cut broccoli into small segments
- Cut garlic, basil and chili
- Heat a frying pan with a small amount of rapeseed oil, fry garlic and chili pepper, add broccoli and basil, salt, pepper, add nutritional yeast (adds a lovely taste of cheese)
- * You can also add 2-3 tablespoons of any plant milk, for example, cashew (I make the milk myself and it's very creamy)
- Drain the pasta (but leave 1/2 cup to add to the pasta later if needed)
- Add the pasta to broccoli, mix well
- Serve, adding a sprinkle of olive oil
